6 Simple Steps to Create Facebook Event
Facebook helps users create events for organized parties, trips, or any general event. With more and more people using Facebook every single day, it is a great place to create events and send invitations. Users also get an option to accept invitations (Attending), reject invitation (Not Attending) or can take time to decide (Maybe Attending). Facebook users also get to discuss many things within the Event wall before the actual event. Facebook is also great place for creating fundraising events.

To create a facebook Event, you will need a facebook account. Here are the steps:-
1. Login to facebook.com. Enter your email and password, click on login.

2 Click on “Events” from the left hand menu. Events page will be displayed. The list of your current Events will be displayed.
3. Click on “Create Event” button.
4. Enter the required details (Event name, time/date, and venue). You also have the option to add details later on. If it is an open event, please do not home address as the location and private phone numbers. This could make your personal data public.
5. You get to select the type of event (Open – Any facebook user can add themselves to the event, Closed – Only description will be displayed to guests who are not invites, Secret/Private – Will not show up in search results). Click “Create Event” after you have entered the details. Upload a photo for the event by clicking on browse.
6. For people not with Facebook, you will have an option to send emails to them. Select Facebook users for the event. Once you have sent the invitation, your Event is now successfully created. At any point before the Event date/time, you can go to “Events” page to see the status of the event and also check the list of people Attending/ Not attending/ Maybe attending to plan accordingly.
Can two people in the same household, same computer have separate Facebook accounts? If so, can you send me the link to the setup instructions. When I go to facebook.com to setup an acccount, I am taken right to my facebook profile.

Two people using the same computer can have separate facebook account. Just ensure that you logout before creating a new account. To logout, go to the top right corner, click “Account” -> Logout.
When I create a facebook event it always notifies the guests whenever anyone comments on the event. I know that there is a way to stop it notifying the guests but I’m not sure how to do it. Does anyone know? Thank you!!
